Many people might think that a kettle is easy to draw but in my case it was hard to define the materials in which the kettle is composed up of. I sent 1hour and 25minutes on this as I was drawing from a distance and focussing hard on all the detail, light and shadows. I decided to give he sketch a bold cross-hatched background.
