Chair exercise
For our learning log this was one of the first tasks that we did as a class. Our task was to draw a chair ontop of a table and to try our best to draw it to perspective. The first chair was a 30minute sketch, the lesson was peaceful and focused. The other sketch was to draw what was inbetween the gaps of the chair, however, this was a chair from a different view and this task took around the same amount of time. So in total I spent an hour on this piece of work. From this exercise I learnt how to work from an eyeline as usually I would just draw an object straight onto paper from how it looks to me, but here I learnt how to focus on one half and then the other. I thought that this work was successful as you can see what it is, however the perspective on the left of the legs of the first chair is slightly inaccurate.
