time spent on this piece; 35minutes. I love this piece of work, up to now it is my best and my favourite one. The reason for this is because I find the detail very suttle and the corresponding shape for the shadow just gives it that realistic look. Here I have remembered to draw in the surface (which was a table) this can be noticed as just a line. I wasn't sure whether to show the surface texture or do a bold dark background to make the overall image stand out but I have just left it blank as it looks just as good, in my opinion, with a white background. I feel that my skills are developing especially my tonel work. To progress with this project I feel that I want to work with mixed mediums.
